This privacy policy describes how Halali ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Halali farm management application.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: name, mobile number, country, currency preference, language preference.
• Farm data: barn names, animal counts, transaction records, voice notes, photo or video attachments you choose to upload.
• Device information: device identifier, platform (iOS/Android/web), app version, push-notification token.
• Usage logs: sign-in time, IP address, action audit trail (for security and support).

2. How we use information

• To operate the app and synchronise your data across your devices and your team.
• To send notifications about activity in your farm (transactions submitted, approved, rejected).
• To provide customer support when you contact us.
• To detect abuse, fraud, and security issues.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your data. Information you submit is shared only with other authenticated users of your own farm. Aggregated, anonymous statistics may be used for product improvement.

4. Advertising

The free tier of Halali shows banner ads on top-level screens. Ad targeting is limited to country and language; we do not share personal data with advertisers.

5. Data retention

Farm data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

6. Security

Authentication uses industry-standard JSON Web Tokens. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to your farm's data is restricted to users you have explicitly paired.

7. Children

Halali is not directed at children under 13.
